Artist Statement

I am interested in blending nuances of the psychological, the emotional and the intellectual in my work. I paint and I experiment with a variety of media, and through this process, I may discover multiple directions the art could take, and it may speak to me in ways I did not originally expect.

 

Art serves to remind the viewer of the perfect and concurrent imperfection of the human condition. I like how various media enables me to reveal and conceal simultaneously, keeping you wondering, moving you into another dimension.

 

I appreciate the broader interpretations my work can provide, allowing the viewer to stretch the imagination, affirming the belief that we humans are limitless potential resources of creative energy.
